Proctor Procedures
NPMA Proctors perform a critical role in the success of our Certification Program and over the years, many, many NPMA members have unselfishly served as Proctors.
The Proctor has complete responsibility for all aspects of the certification exams.
In the on-going effort to bring our Certification Program up to professional standards, and to assist Proctors in fulfilling their responsibilities, a new Proctor Manual has been developed with specific guidelines and procedures
for the NPMA Certification Proctor.
The Manual consists of:
·
Guidelines for exam security
·
Guidelines for verifying the receipt of the exam, administering the examination and returning of completed exams.
·
Directions to ensure that an adequate examination atmosphere is provided to every candidate and those persons with disabilities are adequately accommodated.
·
Methods for communicating problems, discrepancies, and exam candidates issues to Headquarters and Certification Leaders
·
The Proctor’s Ethic Statement and Application.
All proctors for the NPMA Certification Program must obtain a copy of the
Proctor's Manual, complete the Application and Ethics Statement and return it to Headquarters for approval.
