Consulting Fellow Requirements
The Consulting Fellow (CF) is the highest recognition bestowed on its members by the NPMA. Consulting Fellows are expected to have made significant and continuous contributions to the field of property management. This recognition
is designed to provide the NPMA with a core group of property/asset management technical experts who will mentor the next generation of professionals, educate NPMA members, perpetuate the literature of property/asset management, and provide leadership in the
property management field. This core group is known as the "Council of Fellows."
Areas taken into consideration for qualifying include:
- Academic Training
- Work Experience
- Work Excellence
- Leadership within Property Management Field
- NPMA Chapter, Regional or National Leadership
- Professional presentations at Workshops
- Professional presentations at Regional or National Seminars
- Publication of Articles or drafting of Property Management Procedures
- Program Presenter at Chapter Meetings
- Teaching in the Field of Property Management
- Special Achievement
Consulting Fellow candidates must submit a completed CF Application on a CD and the $75.00 processing fee to NPMA National Office.
CF recipients are recognized annually at the National Education Seminar. In order to be recognized at NES, CF applications and supporting documents must be submitted at least 30 days prior
to the NES.
NES 2013 deadline for submissions: June 29, 2013
Required Professional Activities:
A. NPMA member in good standing.
B. NPMA certification as Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM)
C. A minimum of eight (8) years in the Property/Asset Management field
D. Accumulation of a minimum of one hundred (100) points as follows:
a. Academic Achievement criteria - 30 point minimum
b. Career Accomplishments criteria - 25 point minimum
c. NPMA Service criteria - 20 point minimum
d. 25 additional points from any of the three criteria topics
