Our Organization
Today, NPMA is the largest association for asset property management professionals in the world. We have members throughout the U.S., in Canada and overseas. Each member belongs to one
of the 60 local NPMA chapters, and each chapter falls in one of three geographical regions. See our

Our History
Established in 1970, NPMA has helped countless professionals maximize their careers. We can help you too. Traditionally, NPMA's membership consisted primarily of employees from federal agencies involved in contracts and their contractor counterparts. Today's
NPMA includes property managers from colleges and universities, the health care industry, state and local government, technology and manufacturing firms and supporting consultants. Our property managers come from virtually any organization where assets are
managed efficiently and cost effectively. This diversity reflects a membership rich in tradition and innovation.
