You must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to participate in NPMA certification.
You must be a CPPS and have an approved work summary for CPPA to attend this class.
CPPA Work Experience:
You have worked in property for at least three years and have a variety of work experience in at least seven functional areas (see below) of property management.

Note: Managerial experience means supervision, decision-making, or management of resources (not necessarily personnel). This could include project management; program management; financial management (budget); team leadership;
or serving as the sole property manager in an organization, corporation, or agency.

Fundamentals of Personal Property Management

This manual encompasses the basic and fundamental knowledge required for managing personal property from cradle to grave. Utilizing the NPMA “Core Body of Knowledge,” and developed by highly qualified property
professionals, this manual addresses the topics and issues that are basic to the property management profession.
Because of the volume and difficulty of the material, it is strongly recommended that candidates study the manuals prior to attending certification courses.
Certification Examinations
Testing Requirements: CPPS candidates must successfully complete two (2) module exams consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions each.
